Leonardo “Leo” A. Riingen currently holds several executive positions in companies he either owns or partially owns. Given his entrepreneurial and professional business skills, he became Chairman, CEO and Director of several companies in the fields of IT, education, marketing, technology, retail, infrastructure and food.

He is Chairman and President of Computer Assisted Learning Corporation (CAL), an education service provider, and CEO of Informatics Philippines, a network of 9 computer colleges that he built 22 years ago when he was 29 years old. He founded Xplore Philippines Inc, an IT solutions provider with interest in education solutions, waste management and automation.

Leo has a degree in Economics (Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines (UP AB ECON 84) and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Wales, UK.

Leo was awarded by the University of Santo Tomas, where he graduated from high school, a The Outstanding Thomasian Alumni (TOTAL) Award in Science in Technology in 2007, the highest award conferred by UST to an alumnus who has excelled in his field while contributing to the upliftment of the society.

In 2011, Leo was given the CEO Excel Award for 2011 by the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators), a recognition given annually by IABC to Chief Executive Officers, Presidents or top-level executives of companies and organizations.

He is a multi-awarded photographer and former president of the Camera Club of the Philippines. Leo started his career in Security Bank and became a Brand Manager of Procter and Gamble.

Recently, Leo conceptualized civic-oriented, nation-building programs that help transform the citizenry to productive manpower for the future. The CAL PATAS program that build IT labs for public elementary and high schools are currently being undertaken by Leo together with LGUs and DepEd. He was instrumental in the helping Taguig Deped in implementing its successful Cyber Education Program. Lately, he introduced a technology driven learning management system to serve more than 150,000 students in the public school system, colleges and companies to address the constraints made by the pandemic to the training and education sector.

Informatics, under Leo’s leadership has trained over 650,000 Filipinos in IT todate.

Leo H. Aberion, Ph.D. is currently the Managing Director of StudyPlex Learning and Development Training Center based in Cebu City, Philippines. After he finished his college degree, he joined the corporate world and a decade after, he was invited to join the academe. He then pursued his graduate studies to expand his knowledge and skills especially in terms of research, linguistics, pedagogy, ethics, leadership and management, and in honing the youth to become responsible citizens in the society. He has been an educator for almost two decades now and his advocacy centers on the teaching and non-teaching personnel especially during the pandemic because they are the ones who are greatly affected. He has been in the management positions in several private higher and basic education institutions and is engaged in conducting seminars, workshops, and training in research and professional development, among others.

Yoly is the Corporate Communications Group Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of Globe Telecom, a leading mobile and digital company in the Philippines.

She earned her Master’s in Business Administration degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

Yoly is currently a member of the Asia Pacific Association of Communications Directors (APACD), and has served as a president of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

She is a multi-awarded professional both local and international in her fields of expertise specifically communications, sustainability practice and corporate social responsibility.

Among her international awards include the 2018 Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen in Singapore, 101 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (A Global Listing) for 2019 in Mumbai and the first Filipino to be recognized with a Communications for Future (C4F) Davos Award in Geneva. For three straight years, she was recognized by PRWeek as among the 500 most influential people in the global PR industry from 2015 to 2017.

Ramon M. Lopez is the Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). His extensive government experience with the Presidential Management Staff (PMS), DTI, and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) in the early part of his career provided him with a solid background on macroeconomic and industry development that allowed him to adopt a more holistic trade approach. As a strong advocate for free entrepreneurship education for 12 years, he was called to serve the country again under President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s administration as the DTI Secretary.

He has received several awards such as: the 2016 Nation Builders Award for Government Service for his role as prime mover in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) development; and the Philippine Innovation Man of the Year Award in 2017 for the promotion of social entrepreneurship through innovation. In 2018, he received from President Duterte the Order of Sikatuna, with a rank of Datu, one of the senior honors one can receive in the Philippines. Just recently, he was also named by People Asia as one of the 2020 People of the Year for his efforts in the gradual, safe, and calibrated reopening of the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Alberto P. Fenix Jr. is an entrepreneur starting, taking over and developing business enterprises. His experience has been in several fields. Currently, he is Chairman and CEO of Fenix Management and Capital Inc. and of AiFEN True Water Inc., Executive Director of SPC Power Corporation and Independent Director of VC Securities Inc. and of DM Wenceslao and Associates Inc.

Dr. Fenix is a recognized business leader having been National President of the Metalworking Industries Association of the Philippines (MIAP) and of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry(PCCI). He continues as PCCI Honorary President and President of the PCCI Human Resources Development Foundation.

Dr. Fenix holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Ateneo de Manila University, and Masters and Doctorate degrees in Industrial Management from the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Time cannot bind Ms. Rosanna A. Urdaneta’s exemplary career in the government, which continues to embody TESDA’s pillar of excellence and service to the Filipino community. Her vast achievements and quintessential leadership are testaments that hard work and professionalism can propel one’s dream into reality. She currently holds the position of Deputy Director General for Policies and Planning with a rank of CESO II.

Started at a very young age working as a rank and file employee, she earnestly honed her skills and talents in the field of Community Enterprise System and Development, Training Technologies, Organizational Development, and Systems Thinking. Henceforth, she ensures that TESDA’s policies are well executed and remain parallel to its vision. She is well known for her exceptional competence in Project Development, Systems and Methodologies Designing, Project Management and Implementation, Staff and Institutional Capability – Building, and Project Evaluation.

As Deputy Director General for Policies and Planning, her leadership and foresight has driven TESDA into international prominence, especially with the establishment of the ASEAN TVET Council (ATC), while securing the relevance of technical vocational education and training (TVET) at the national level. She is instrumental in spearheading key policy reforms directed at guaranteeing the readiness of the TVET sector for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She further facilitated the strengthening of industry participation and partnership in TVET thru the formulation of a blueprint for the TVET sector in the country known as the National Technical Education and Skills Development Plan 2018 to 2022. She is currently the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Human Resources Development Working Group (HRDWG) Capacity Building Network (CBN) Coordinator for 2021 to 2022.

Her remarkable contributions for the National Manpower and Youth Council (NMYC) and towards the growing global recognition of the TVET system in the Philippines have been greatly valued and continue to manifest in TESDA’s successes.

DDG Urdaneta holds a Masters degree in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and earned her Economics degree from the University of Sto. Tomas.
