AAIG 2021 NATIONAL SUMMIT PROCEEDINGS

The University of Santo Tomas Alumni Association, Inc. has formally launched the run of its Alumni, Academe, Industry and Government (AAIG) 2022 Caravan Series to be held in five strategic areas in the country, namely: NCR, CALABARZON, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Visayas and Mindanao. The maiden online caravan is slated on April 21, 2022.
In partnership with the UST Graduate School Center for Continuing Professional Education and Development (GS CCPED), the AAIG Proceedings Caravan Series aims to cascade the main learning insights derived during the AAIG 2021 held last September and October 2021. AAIG started its advocacy in 2019.
The specific objectives of the Caravan Series are three-fold, namely: To develop an AAIG community of practitioners (COPs); to develop AAIG convergence champions; and to produce academic discourses on transformational education toward helping the young alumni transition from the academe to industry 4.0 and 5.0 workplace.
The AAIG story is about catalyzing change by enjoining the industry and business leaders to adapt innovative and collaborative practices in bridging the academe and industry gap. It is also about forging strategic alliances and sustained partnerships among the alumni, academe, industry and government sectors towards inclusive growth and success.
AAIG is envisioned to build skills and competencies among the youth in both formal and non-formal education settings, going beyond the realm of intelligence quotient alone and is geared towards the inculcation and development of soft o essential skills and entrepreneurial mindset development.
And finally, the AAIG Caravan Series will be highlighted by the Manifestation of Solidarity, a symbolic expression of one group coming together in a responsible manner to harness the role of Alumni POWER (Partnerships. Organizations. Will. Expertize. Resources).
