John Derick de Recto

John Derick De Recto, MBA, CMA(US), CSCA, CLSSYB, FMVA®, CPHR®, is currently the Director for Finance, Accounting, and Compliance of AcadArena Technologies Inc., one of the leading Esports company in South East Asia. He is also a part time CFO for Sociov, An Edu-tech startup, graduated from The Founder Institute (Manila ‘21) one of the top pre-seed accelerators in the world, focusing on professional coaching for high school students. He is fortunate to also be a technical consultant for Prof. Moises Norman Z. Garcia, Ph.D., focusing on environmental impacts of single used plastics using Material Balance flow and Material cost flow analysis.

He volunteers his time as the treasurer and Vice President for student chapter relations for IMA – Philippines Chapter, focused on building student chapters across the Philippines and promoting the advantage of the U.S. CMA and the management accounting Field. He is also the Treasurer and Board of Trustees of the UST AMV Alumni Association Inc. A recognize alumni association of graduates of the UST-AMV College of accountancy. and advisor for the Board of trustees of the UST Pax Romana Alumni Association, Inc., an international alumni association of Filipino catholic professional who are graduates of the University of Santo Tomas and members of the UST Pax Romana.

He was an experienced Audit Assistant for Maxicare Healthcare Corporation. He specializes in Fraud investigation, Operational audit, and KYC Analysis. He was also a faculty member for the University of Perpetual Help College- Pangasinan, University of Santo Tomas- Senior High School, and Philippine Tong Ho Institute. Teaching various Accounting, Business, Economics, And Research courses from the senior High to the collegiate level.
