Jason Lee Ong


Jason Lee Ong is the CEO of Imperial Nova Corp. (INC) The company engages in the trading of industrial solvents catering to various industries such as pharmaceutical, coatings, packaging, print, crop science, rubber, cosmetics, etc.

INC also trades cleaning chemicals and carries various brands such as Simple Green, Captain Zero, Howards Products, Drainbo and generic household products like detergents, dishwashing liquids, bleach and fabric softeners. Furthermore, INC is a distributor of personal care products of Sterinil.

The company is a brainchild of Mr. Jason Ong. It started as a sole proprietor back in 2001 and eventually incorporated in 2012.

At present, its business has evolved and the diversity includes investments into waste recycling, hauling, food commissary, retail and property management. Jason Ong’s journey as an entrepreneur started when he used to peddle plastic products while still studying at UST. He would go to Divisoria and Quiapo after school to sell the products and occasionally go door to door in Ermita and Makati. After graduating in UST with a degree in B.S. Chemical Engineering, he was able to get a job as an account executive of Metro Industries Inc. and he worked there for 10 years before deciding to quit his job and try his luck as a businessman in 2004. He started as a partner, along with his classmates Johnson Dy and Arvin Santos, at Raw Materials and Chemical Industries Inc. (RMaC) In 2010, he decided to leave RMaC and venture on his own with Imperial Nova. Today, his journey is now in full circle as his children is likewise involved in the business. Jason Ong is a Tomasian alumni graduated in 1993. He is currently the President of the Engineering alumni of UST. He was a former member of the Rotary Club of Manila. He is an active member of Manila Jaycee Senate and he was once a past president of the Rotaract Club of Binondo and served as District Rotaract Representative for RI District 3810 back in 2000.
